Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is an event created to raise funds and  bring awareness to ending Youth homelessness and poverty. The funds raised in our community during this event go towards sustaining and expanding the services at 37 Frank Youth Centre. Because of COVID restrictions, this year participants were asked to record their walk of 2 or 5 km, or any other chilly event they decided to endure, and send the video in with their donations.

Our Strathroy Rotary team, captained by Fraser MacDonald,  publicized through our social media sites generating lots of support from friends and family. Together the team raised just under $6,000 which was 590% of the their original goal!

The Strathroy community, as a whole, raised $35,183 while all Rotary Clubs across Canada hit 278% of their goal with $97,299. Rotary Clubs across Canada represent the largest service community group in Canada as supporters of this event and our Club in Strathroy ranked #4 in support of this very urgent need of hope for our youth.  A huge thank you to all those who donated and participated! Way to go Team!!!
